TinyStep Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

What we collect

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we keep your account ID and the email address that provider gives us. When cloud saving is on, we store a copy of what you put in the app as text: your things to do, your chats with Milo, notes, your profile settings, and what Milo remembers about you (see below). Photos and recordings stay on your phone; only text about them is saved. Anything you mark as sensitive stays on your phone and is not saved to our servers.

What Milo remembers

To be more helpful over time, Milo keeps short notes about you, such as your preferences, when you tend to get things done, and things you have finished. You can see, edit or delete every note in Settings, under About me. Milo does not keep notes about health conditions, ID or account numbers, or other people’s private matters, and your mood is not stored.

Sharing with an AI provider

When you talk to Milo, TinyStep sends the relevant text (your message, recent conversation, and the notes Milo needs for that reply) from our server to Anthropic, our AI provider, so it can write a response. We send it only to get your reply. Photos, recordings and anything marked sensitive are not sent. Our server logs record only the request type, status and timing, not what you wrote.

Calendar

If you connect your calendar, events are read on your phone to help Milo plan around your day. TinyStep never changes your calendar.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple. We receive your subscription status, not your payment details.

Who else sees your data

Apple (sign-in and payments), Google (sign-in), Anthropic (AI replies), and the cloud company that hosts our server. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Deleting your data

In Settings, choose Delete account. This deletes your account, your sign-in records, your saved data and Milo’s notes from our server. Recent backup copies of our database may hold it a little longer until newer backups replace them. We keep a record that a trial or subscription was used (without your content) so that a trial cannot be claimed twice. You can also export your data from Settings.

Your choices and rights

You can view, correct, export and delete your information in the app. If you live in California or another place with privacy rights, you may also ask us by email to see or delete what we hold about you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

TinyStep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
